The word philosophy is actually a combination of two Greek words that come together to mean quite literally, “the love of wisdom.” Human beings have questions because we want to know. We have an insatiable appetite for knowledge. There are three major branches of philosophy: Metaphysics (what is reality), Epistemology (the study of knowledge), and Morality (what is right).
